As the Managing Broker and owner at RealrySmarts!, I offer comprehensive, individualized investment services to clients including sales and marketing, research, real estate investment plan creation and education, property management and real estate investment club formation.

My first real estate experience began in the mortgage banking industry at Fannie Mae (Federal National Mortgage Association). While working in the area of multifamily underwriting, I fell in love with the idea of property ownership for all Americans.

Later, as a Director for the City of Chicago Department of Housing, I was responsible for project management of the high profile Cabrini Green redevelopment project. I also created and managed the 63rd & Halsted Street redevelopment project and relocation of Kennedy-King College. Creation and implementation of the Design Matters architectural review panel was one of my proudest achievements.

Having sold millions of dollars of real estate, my experience runs the gamut from regular ole single family home and condo sales to foreclosure short sales, and tax auction properties. My specialty is helping the beginning investor make a good plan and good buying and selling decisions. I have successfully helped hundreds of buyers meet their objectives.

These experiences helped to shape my view that many people could increase their wealth through real estate ownership – if given the proper information and guidance. Sharing information and training others for success in real estate investing has been satisfying personally as well as professionally.

I serve on several real estate boards including the Chicago Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee and I constantly reinforce ethical practice and working with integrity in all of the members of our organization.
